What is Turmeric Chai Good For?

Turmeric chai is a popular Indian beverage made by combining black tea with spices like ginger, cloves, cardamom and cinnamon.Turmeric has been used in traditional Indian medicine for centuries and is thought to have many health benefits. Do Chai Lattes Have a Lot of Caffeine?

Chai lattes are a type of spiced tea that originates from India. The word “chai” actually means “tea” in Hindi, so a chai latte is literally just “milk tea.” Chai lattes typically contain black tea, milk, spices like cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and ginger, and sweeteners like honey or sugar.

Some cafes also add syrups or other flavorings to their chai lattes. So how much caffeine is in a chai latte? It depends on a few factors, including the type of tea used and how much of it is used.

Black tea generally has more caffeine than green or white tea, so if a cafe uses black tea in their chai latte, it will likely have more caffeine. Additionally, if the cafe doubles up on the amount of tea used (i.e., 2 bags instead of 1), there will be more caffeine as well. Overall though, most chai lattes have about half the amount of caffeine as a regular cup of coffee – so they’re perfect for those who want a little pick-me-up without all the jitters!
